SALINE REMOVAL

Lighten unwanted pigment and make way for a fresh start.

Saline removal is a non-laser technique used to lighten or remove unwanted permanent makeup and small cosmetic tattoos. It can be an ideal option for clients looking to correct or fade old, unwanted, discoloured or poorly shaped permanent makeup before considering a new treatment.

During the procedure, a specialized saline removal solution is carefully implanted into the area containing unwanted pigment. The solution helps draw pigment toward the surface of the skin as the area goes through its natural healing process. As the treated area heals and sheds, the appearance of the tattoo may gradually become lighter.

Unlike laser removal, saline removal does not rely on laser energy to target pigment. Once the area has fully healed and sufficient pigment has been removed or lightened, it may be possible to have the area tattooed again, depending on the condition and integrity of the skin.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Results vary from person to person. Multiple sessions may be required depending on factors such as the age, depth, colour and saturation of the existing pigment, as well as your skin and previous treatments. Complete removal cannot be guaranteed.
